Manage OpenClaw Agents From Your Phone in Seconds

Manage OpenClaw Agents From Your Phone in Seconds

Elise Jones

Over the past few years, mobile devices have evolved from communication tools into computing platforms. We manage businesses through Slack, move money through wallets, and build audiences through social apps, all from our phones.

So why not manage agents from our phones too?

With agents.pinata.cloud, you can spin up an OpenClaw instance and interact with an agent directly from your phone in seconds. No Mac Mini required.

Why Mobile Changes Everything for Agents

Agents are more than just chatbots. They can execute tasks, respond to inputs, call APIs, process data, and interact with external systems from wherever you are, instead of needing separate apps or dashboards.

Running agents makes it easier to fit them into your daily workflow by keeping them always available, instantly accessible, and embedded in the tools you already use, like Telegram, WhatsApp, and Slack.

This enables agents to actually work and do things, rather than being a background process.

How Agents Work from Your Phone

The agent mobile experience is built around a simple concept:

Set it up once. Use it everywhere.

Starting with Pinata’s mobile-friendly interface, agents.pinata.cloud to configure your agent. During the setup, you’ll define what your agent does, how it behaves, and what it can access. Next, you’ll connect it to your existing communication channels, such as Telegram, WhatsApp, and Slack. This will enable your agent to live within the channel without needing to return to the dashboard unless you want to make configuration changes.

  1. Create your agent on agents.pinata.cloud
  2. Connect it to a messaging platform
  3. Interact with your agent entirely through that platform

This setup makes the experience feel seamless. Setup is quick, and usage will feel native in the messaging app, just like chatting with any other contact.

Tutorial

Step 1: Open the Agents Dashboard

From your browser, go to: agents.pinata.cloud

Step 2: Sign In or Create an Account

Log in or sign up for a Pinata account. This gives you access to:

  • Agent creation
  • Skills
  • Channel connections (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Google Chat, Slack, Signal, iMessage, and Nostr)

Step 3: Create a New Agent

Select “Create Agent”. You’ll be prompted to define your agent, including name and instructions. You can start simple here and refine this later.

Step 4: Connect a Communication Channel

Choose where you want to interact with your agent from the channel connections options listed above. Follow the setup instructions to link your account or bot.

Step 5: Deploy Your Agent

Tap deploy and that’s it. Your agent is live and accessible from your chosen messaging platform.

Using Your Agent from Your Phone

This is the best part. You don’t need the dashboard anymore. Using your messaging app on mobile, you can chat with your agent to ask questions, trigger workflows, send commands, and automate tasks.

Your agent is now portable, persistent, and most importantly, within reach.

Once your agent lives in your messaging apps, the use cases expand.

  • Trigger workflows or processes without having to open your laptop
  • Query APIs, check logs, or retrieve data instantly
  • Interact with files, manage content, or handle metadata directly in chat
  • Summarize conversations, organize information, and execute repetitive tasks

Building tools that live inside communication channels is where users already spend their time. Your agents are now embedded.

Sign up, spin up an agent, and see what your phone can really do.
